There are four subcamps on IFC.
Lakota
Subcamp leader of Lakota Sub Camp at IFC 2008, Dave
Brassington (Brasso), sadly passed away during 2009 and we would like to keep the name of the subcamp in his honour..
The lakota staff team are predominently from the Stone
District Area, and named their subcamp of the native American
people.
Arnold Bennett
Arnold Bennett, a famous
novelist born in Hanley, Stoke on Trent, and writer of "The Tales
of the Five Towns" infamously forgetting one of the local towns that
make up the Potteries, and is also the name of one of our subcamp's and
home to Alastair Sutton and his team.
Copeland
WT Copeland is the name of
another of our subcamp's and also the family name of the benefactor to
Kibblestone, whom donated the land to Stoke on Trent and
Newcastle Divisional Scout Council for the purposes of Outdoor
Scouting. Cliff Birch and his team has chosen the name for his subcamp.
Hillbillies
This affectionately
became the name of our final subcamp as this is home to anyone coming
to IFC alone or in very small numbers. David Hargreaves and his team
are responsible for this subcamp.
